I hail from Habashpur. Naresh Chandra Kundu is my father. I studied at Habashpur K.Raj High School till March 1969, when I migrated to West Bengal at the age of 14. Some of my classmates were Saidur Rahman, Bijan Saha, Md.Latif.
Though my native place is at Kalyani, West Bengal, I have been staying in various places in India by virtue of my employment with a Bank. Presently I am staying in Mumbai for the last 6 years.
I don't know whether this comment would reach somebody who knows me. I still have vivid memories of my birth place particularly the scenic beauty of the "Bil' during the monsoon, our house opposite the Primary School, my High School & the teachers particularly, Moslemuddin Ahmed - Head Master (who stayed with us for few months at Chakdaha, West Bengal, in 1971 during the liberation war) and Manotosh Maitra, Asst.Head Master. I visited Habashpur last in 1972 after Bangladesh independence.
