Heard from my father that more than 4 (four) generations Sen Gupta`s/Sen Sarma`s live in this village and upto my Grandfather practising Kaviraji in and surrounding villages.My mother too was born in Mazumder Family in nearby locality.Sudhir Ranjan ( 1902-1982) and Kiron Prova ( 1911-1983) were pious and religious persons having more than 50 downstream heirs and all are settled and are in good positions of activities.
