In 1934 I was born in Boalmari.I am a son of Dr.Jogendra Nath Chatterjee of Boalmari,his brother Monoranjan Chatterjee was a lawyer had a house in Niltuli,Faridpur town. My elder brother was a student of Ishan School Faridpur.My wife is from Faridpur town, her father Amaresh Moitra was a good musician. The famous vocalist Sudhirlal Chakraborty was our family friend.My wife's grand father Purna Moitra was a well known pleader of faridpur,they had a very big house in Faridpur town. I visited Faridpur several time in my childhood and have sweet memories about the beautiful Town, the Cinema hall etc..I am a musician presently living in Berlin and Kolkata. Fortunately Indian/Bangladeshi classical music lovers knows me very well. I played my first concert in Faridpur Gitali Music Club in 1940 when I was only six. I was a student of Boalmari Georoge Academy from 1943 to 1946. I will be happy if any gentleman knows about us kindly answer.I am longing to visit the beautiful Faridpur since long.
