I was thrilled to visit the land of my birth place Purba Banga now Bangladesh ( from October 15-25, 2011). In 1947, I was born at village Meruaghona under Tangail sub division ( now Tangail district). My parents migrated to India in 1948. Eversince, I grew up in the midst of memories narrated by my parents. I feel proud of being born in that part of Bengal and our family identity is qualified as origin of Mymensingh district even now. Unfortunately, I could not visit my birth place due to lack of adequate information and other compulsions. I shall be grateful to know details of routes and other means of transports from Dhaka. Next time, I shall make my programme to visit my birth place and maternal uncle's place at Delduar ( Sarkar Bari). - Dipak Kumar Nag
