Bagmara is one of the largest thana of Rajshahi district as well as Bangladesh. Bagmara is very much famous for its educational institutions. There are lots of primary schools, high schools, madrashas and colleges in this thana.Bhawanigonj govt. boys high school and Bhawanigonj govt. girls school are two of them.
